[Vortonox & FLSM - Remembering You (Xenomorph EP)]

You got my hopes up the first 15 seconds, the melody and ambience was nice. You ruined everything at 0:15 with that big synth that's really out of place, loud, and not coherent with the first melody. At 0:30 sec you have 2 melodies going on at the same time that are in different key, and sound super bad at the same time. The drop is horribly compressed, so compressed that the build up sounds louder than the drop itself, you're probably triggering the default FL Limiter that's on the Master track of every project, and you're triggering it very hard, turn the volume on your stuff down. The song is a mess!
I recommend you learn basic music theory and basic mixing & mastering, plenty of free tutorials online for that.

I think the chords are too boring and repetitive. But the song structure is good, and some melodies are very catchy, so good job there.

Yeah this is nice but I see some volume problems. The beginning is too quiet, if listening in a noisy environment, I have to turn up the volume and then get ear raped later on in the track, specially that synth at 1:24, too damn loud.

Thanks, yeah I kind of noticed that myself after I uploaded it that the lead seemed louder than it should be. So I did some adjusting of volume levels and a bit more EQ'ing to try to balance the mix a bit better. I just now replaced it with the adjusted version so hopefully it won't ear rape anyone anymore lol.

Still, I kind of intended the beginning to be a bit quiet to have a more dramatic effect when the bass and first beat comes in. I listen to a lot of cinematic music and so I have a tendency to use volume dynamics in my songs just like a lot of cinematic and orchestral tracks do, most of which have the same issue if you listen in a noisy environment. I don't know, I just like the effect of the dynamics I guess.

Hey I liked this one a lot. You really need to fix the end, the sound just stops suddenly, have it fade out instead.

This is an interesting track but it gets boring, I suggest you add more variation throughout the song and avoid having loops repeat for too long.

I don't know if the effect is made on purpose but the volume on some of your synths is very inconsistent specially with all the excessive sidechain, it sounds like it is hitting some kind of limiter. The sounds you used for your melodies and chords are super muddy and too far back in the mix and are very hard to hear when too much is playing at the same time. The drums (specially the snare) are too clear/dry compared to the rest of the music and other instruments, the sample you used for the snare does not fit the song at all.
The chord progression and melodies are great! They have emotion and variety which is what I like most about this song, so amazing job there. (I also really like the tom samples)
